DHOOM machale

WARNING: This post is not for the person who are dead sure of watching this movie. this may force to change their views. these are my personal views and anyone has rights to differ from it.feel free to express ur view.

My questions: why this movie has got such a rave review ?

Why someone should watch this movie?
1. Hrithik Roshan: He can be told as the main stay of the movie and he is perfect for the role. Dances well and performs the stunts with style. he is good in the disguise.
2. Nice background music
3. Good choreography and the places are beautiful.
4. some good stunts.
5. Much thinner ASH and sexy BIPASHA

Why should you avoid it:
i found more reasons for this.
1. this is not as great as it is projected by the paper and critics, i am not able to find what they liked in it.
2. More money as YAHRAJ production is driving the prices high.
3. Songs are not good and placed at time whenever they felt or does not had anything else.
4. some action sequence requires no brains in the theater, i think that after matrix everyone can dose the bullet in their own way, how does he crossed the truck when its blocking the tunnel. you get hit on the hand and lying in hospital with broken leg. there are technical mistakes in my opinion.
5. the second half trying to make you sentimental and bores you.
6. ASH looks much older than Hrithik in some scenes.
7. whats the need for the UDAY and BIPASHA: songs and flesh exhibition.
8. How a indian police officer is commanding the forces of other country and what does he doing when he waits for the crime in other country for 6 months. Is the crime in the country is over.

My opinion is that movie is good but not that great. i am certainly happy that some indian movies are trying to make movies in the hollywood style and this is good sign for the future.

Flirting with deadlines...

As software professional I am not going to talk about the deadlines in the IT industry. As everyone will agree with me that they are tight and there is always a fight to meet them and most of the time it’s not met. The deadline here is the common term for the time at which we are supposed to do something.
I always mess up with the time, i think i am too bad in this. Whether its cab timing in the morning or meeting time in the office or with someone. Most of the time its due to laziness and negligence but some of the time it’s really difficult. Recently I totally messed up with the timing of the MBA admission forms that due to total negligence on my part. It started from the time to take application forms. I don’t know why everything comes to the last week and then to the day that is impossible to extend.

Finally I got the forms after much difficulties, the amazing thing is that there are many other people like me flirting with deadlines. After collecting the form it was lying there on the table until the last date is so near that any delay can cause rejection of your application. You open the application bulletin to find that there is lot of requirements that needs to be completed before sending the application. Then the process starts and I run from one place to other. Finally its get done on just the right time.

Why can’t I do it when there is lot of time? I think that this question does not apply to me only, people like me are everywhere. Everyone has the solution and they know what to do, but this issue is there for the long time and it will be there because the reasons (laziness and negligence) behind it are not going to change. Hope to see the change in me and everyone.

PAWAR NUDGED

Austrailians are not as much in news for winning the coveted ICC champions trophy which eluded them so far as they are for the behaviour while the award presentation. Atleast the indian media has been very critical of the issue and this is dominating the news for the last 3-4 days. The austalian team has been always critisized for their in-field behaviour during the matches but now they are facing the heat for the awards also.
I have a view that their behaviour was not what you expect from the champions but was it such a big issue that required so much condemnation from accross the political parties and the cricket world. Are they trying to hide their failures by finding the mistakes in the behaviour and attitude of the mighty world champion rather than spending time on the measures to strenghten the basic structure and finding the talent. i was particularly disappointed from the comment by the two of the india's great batsmen from all time giving their view.
I think the unfortunate event, nudging by the Martyn was unintentional and happened at the heat of the moment even though person should take care that these should not happen. i am more critical of the Captain Ricky Ponting for signalling to give the award, he could have shown more patience and responsbility as the captain of the team.
Pawar has gone even bigger in his stature as underplaying the issue and not taking it seriously. the former players are right in demanding the apology for the behaviour but i think they are going far ahead. One political party has sent the legal notice to the austalian embassy for the action. they are just trying to come into lime light and have some moment of the fame.
In my point of view the team Australia should apologies instead of the statements like they are ready to apologies which is fuelling thte issues and CA(cricket australia) and the indian media should try to close the issues quickly. this is a perfect example of the issue blown out of proportion.

Journey back to Home....

During the Diwali holidays, I was on the way back too my hometown. I was going home after a long time. I was too delighted with the thoughts of going home .The travel mediums used in the journey is quite interesting.

I had booked the air-ticket for the BANGALORE-KOLKATA journey two months in advance. Incidentally there was no train or connecting flight from Kolkata to my home town Patna that day. The Howrah-Patna is very well connected through the railway and you will find so many trains on general day, but there were none matching our timing on that day. Actually it should have been checked before booking the air-ticket but I think we (my friends too) were in hurry and planned to reach home two days before Diwali. So we booked the train tickets for a town near to Patna and planned to travel from there in best possible medium available there.

I was in the office on the day of travel and left the day early to avoid the Bangalore traffic, which can cause the delay such that even you can miss the flights. I reached the airport on time. One of my friends was there 1 hour before and other was still in the office when I reached. It was just on time that he reached and received some good words from us as my friend ticket was with him. We boarded the flight and in no time we were in Kolkata. There it took more than half of the travel time to book a pre-paid taxi for the Howrah junction. The Kolkata taxi-drivers and taxi are really out of this world. There I realize that I can never learn to drive a four-wheeler in this town. Finally we reached there.

At the junction we looked for the option to travel to the Patna, but we already knew that and were just trying our luck out there. As expected there was none and we had dinner and we boarded the train to Gaya. In the train there was a fight in the next compartment between two uncles for the place of luggage even though there was lot of space to keep the entire luggage. We had a long chat in night before sleeping and we were there on time.

Now the next question arises, how do we travel from here to Patna. We enquired about the local trains but it was after three and half hours. So we decided to enquire about the bus service, the name of the bus is enough to send electric shock through your body. The thoughts of the roads and the crowd will be like nightmare.
As we were in the hurry to reach home so nothing can deter our plans and we book the tickets in the bus. The tickets for all of us were cheaper than taxi fare in the Kolkata even though the distance was at least 15 times more. The seat were not so good and it started in the 15 min. the roads were in very good condition which was beyond my expectation and the crowd was also less for the festive season. The green wheat fields were presenting very good scenery out of the window. It was fast and comfortable journey till the time we reached to the outer part of the city. There was big traffic jam due to the breakdown of a truck in the middle of the road. It took a long time to cover a small distance due to that.

The city has grown a lot during the last few years. It was a long time after which I was in this part of the city as I used to take the train directly to patna and never used to come on this side of the town. What was disturbing in the development was that there was clear lack of the city planning. 80% of the new houses were in the middle of the water logged surroundings and they don’t have the cement plaster on the outside walls. So the colors are missing and it looks like a concrete jungle.

We finally reaches to bus stand and as we are about to enter it, we see an unusual thing. At least 20 auto rickshaw are following the bus to catch the passenger’s first. We finally booked a auto for our place and interestingly the drive gave the controls to a children and he was driving and yelling at the peoples who were not giving the pass. God knows why the horn in the automobiles was invented. The child was only 13 year old and did not had the license so as soon as the city limit came he gave back the control to the other elder driver and after that I thought that he was the better driver.

After using so many mediums of the transport I finally reached home and it was a great. there are lots of stories and things to be shared so i will be updating the blog soon. so keep reading...
