No Smoking

I don't find my self good enough to review this movie and tell that what was good and what was bad, except John Abraham was really bad. I must admit that he was the perfect choice for this movie and no one else suits in this role, so this was quite acceptable.

On the movie side, the story line was something different, it belonged to different genre and i cant understand this stream of movies only Anurag kashyap can help in this matter. The cinematography was good.

According to one of the friend, " If this movie was made in Hollywood everyone must have praised it but the same thing here cant get appreciated". I totally agree with the point that this is not for Bollywood.

Can find the short interview of Anurag kashyap at, may be it helps:

Honking!!!

Pleaseeeeee, don't Honk. This is reaction which comes to mind while driving on the Bangalore Roads. Its not that i am against the use of horns but i think that this device is not meant to be used the way it is getting used. Horn is one of the very important part of the vehicle designed to make the journey comfortable and safe. Its main purpose is to signal the intention to overtake or warn anyone not concentrated on the road.

On the roads i see too many different uses of this device. I think peoples enjoys honking or it just the mere frustration that comes out and shows on the road. One of my friend even told that he likes it and thats why unknowingly uses it even when there is no need. The uses of it when traffic lights are Red are not justified. I see that on the road clogged with the vehicles when no one is moving, peoples are using the horn. I think that cant he find that there is traffic in front of the person whom he is asking to move and he cant fly to get out of your way. If he can then it better that you fly then there will be no trouble to you. On the rainy day the roads are here usually packed and peoples esp. on two wheeler has to just stand in the rain, then also using your horn is not going to ease the traffic.

Just think that your vehicle develops some snag on the road then you are in big trouble as everyone behind will start honking and according to them it will solve the problem. No one wants to be stranded on the road and block your way. Yes, indicating that there is need to hurry is very important, but in the end people makes the person frighten and the vehicle which would have started by now is still blocking the way.

There are different reasons for this and we are actually unaware that we are doing this. Sometime even i don't make out the reason for using the horn. Later when i realize i just smile at myself. I think that we all need to introspect ourselves and see that do we making a judicious use of this very important thinking. I am not talking just for the environmental effect, it will have the great for all of us. when we reach our destination we will feel much more relaxed.

So for our own sake lets make the appropriate use of this. Happy honking :)

Anything for Gaddi

I am talking about the strongest man in the Indian politics right now. Its not our PM Mr. Manmohan Singh, neither the so called back seat queen of India ( Yes Mrs. SG). Its Mr. Prakash Karat. Dude you have forced the elected representative to take back his words and just think how much loss its to the nation pride and reputation.

Finally you have won and the N-deal is on hold. The sovereignty and integrity of the nation is safe now, according to you. but there is no word about the energy for which all was getting done. Kudos to congress also as after lot of boasting that they are not afraid of mid-term election they have given in for the power.

I cant imagine the conversation between the Bush and our PM. Its must be embarrassing, but everything for the gaddi.
